The General Sir Arthur Currie Award is presented annually to a Canadian who in their lifetime made a significant contribution to Canada’s military history and heritage. We are proud to announce this year’s husband and wife recipients, Jody Mitic and Alannah Gilmore, who together have overcome tremendous physical and psychological trauma and who through their “NEVER QUIT” foundation assist Canadian veterans in need. They are truly monumental Canadians and honoured recipients of the 2015 General Sir Arthur Currie Award.

This evening of military pageantry, music, entertainment and tribute to the brave men and women of the Canadians Forces is highlighted by the presentation of the General Sir Arthur Currie Award to Jody Mitic and Alannah Gilmore by retired Major General Lewis W. MacKenzie.
